Everyday Adventure

A simple blog

Everyday’s An Adventure

A quick redesign and a quick post. This year saw many adventures and as usually happens I didn’t quite get around to writing up anything about most them. I thought about spending some time going through my photos to try and pull together some sort of recap but instead I’ve decided to start from here and look forward. I plan to write more to end the year. More time in the camper, more time on trail, and more time with friends- at least this is the goal.

I spent the weekend, like most weekends in the last month, working on the camper. Pearl is her name and it fits; harbinger of resiliency. Anyway, I got a few new rugs as my dog Pepper was having a hard time with the flooring. I got a plant for the camper as well. I’m not entirely sure what the color scheme will end up being but for now, beige, greens, and blues seem to be happening a lot and I like it.

The weekends out at the lake are getting colder. The trees are less brilliant and shedding their leaves. The crowds are thinning as the allure of a campfire on a brisk night turns to a necessity with temps on the edge of freezing. It hasn’t stopped the wildlife however, still happy to wander the campground for walnuts and whatever else they can forage.

I’ve already started booking trips for 2026. Some old and some new music festivals as well as some cycling and running adventures. An exciting year to come, I think. Today’s adventure though was work, going to the gym, and now a quiet evening at home.

That’s all for now.

Zach
